The purpose of this Guide is to outline where “Canada, a People’s History” videos, books, and Teacher Guide align with BC’s standards, showing you which sections of the material to complete. It has been designed to help you prioritize your time and effort, assisting you in addressing the content and core competencies required in British Columbia. ● This Guide uses Twenty Eight of the lessons in the Teacher’s Guide, included in this kit ● The content for completing the lesson activities is presented during each DVD episode, and you may also use the Canada, A People’s History books to review the material. ● Choose ONLY ONE of the two or three listed “Activities” shown in each lesson of the Teacher's Guide. The “Activities” are geared to a classroom setting, however most are still achievable in a home setting with a few adjustments ● Aim to complete THREE LESSONS per week ● This Curriculum Correlations Guide is designed to take 7 weeks to complete .
