This writing program assumes a 36-week school year with one lesson being completed each week. Within each lesson there are five defined days with tasks to be performed each day. This level cover, direct and indirect quotations, divided quotations, dialogue, the writing process, thesis statements, transitional sentences, documenting sources, bibliography, creative writing, personal narrative, descriptive writing, persuasive writing, explanatory writing, informational essay, biographical essay, cause and effect essay, contrast and compare essay, problem and solution essay, and research report, among other things. No dotted guidelines in blanks. Level 8 requires students to write seven paragraphs for each writing assignment.

This writing course includes 8 separate grades (levels) that excel in teaching writing techniques. 1. Each writing book teaches the basics of writing in a way that is age-appropriate for the level. 2. This program covers numerous types of writing, such as essays and research papers. 3. This program teaches a student how to organize and outline their thoughts for a writing project. 4. The answer keys for all levels are separate from the workbook.
